Kobe Bryant Project

I create original paintings in acrylic. I have a style which I call "Abstract/3D/Realism".
I used a lot of colors in my pieces.The 3D portion is when I use globs of paint to create the desired effect I want. My paintings are usually very large and eclectic.

I've seen a lot of paintings of Kobe on the web after his untimely death. Artists rushed to their canvases or drawing boards to make a quick illustration of him. Some are very well done, especially the pencil illustrations. As for me, I like to take my time and study my subject matter before placing paint to canvas or pencil to paper. I wanted to create a one of a kind unique illustration! 'This is a biopic painting of his basketball life. The painting is a combination of Abstract/3D/Realism (my style). His jersey numbers, hair and background designs are in 3D..
